Border Transload & Freight Services, LLC ("BTFS") is a regional trucking company that provides unique freight solutions throughout the state of Texas. BTFS operates in conjuction with its sister-companies Rio Valley Switching Company ("RVSC") (South Texas Shortline Railroad) and Border Transload & Transfer, Inc. ("BTT") (Transloading and Warehousing). "Rio Valley Intermodal Gateway" Border Transload and Freight Services LLC (BTFS) operates the Rio Valley Intermodal Gateway (RVIG) paper ramp in conjunction with the standards set forth by the Union Pacific RR. The RVIG primary support is for the UP’s San Antonio Intermodal Terminal (SAIT). RVIG handles both the EMP and UMAX containers via REZ1 system. Intermodal customers should contact an Intermodal Marketing Company (IMC) for rates or information on lanes available from RVIG. Border Trainload and Freight Services LLC (BTFS) is a local and regional trucking company servicing the UP ramps in Texas. Contact our office and staff for our published dray rates for RVIG ramp and other UP ramps. In addition BTFS is available to work with non-intermodal customers to meet their needs and requirements.
